This is a repair on a DSG transmission from a VW Eos that had a failure with the 2nd-4th gear selector fork. The linear bearing on the selector fork failed causing shifting issues with the transmission; this in turn caused a limp home mode with the car whenever it attempted to shift into 4th gear.
We removed, and then tore apart the transmission. We cleaned inside and replaced all four selector forks with new ones. The clutch pack was also changed. The transmission was then reinstalled, filled with fresh oil, adaptations on the clutch’s and shift forks were preformed and then a test drive to verify correct function.
